1. Who can use Rangium

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to own and possess firearms and ammunition where you live. You agree that you are not a person prohibited from possessing firearms under federal, state, or local law. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

2. What Rangium is

Rangium is a private record-keeping and planning tool for responsible firearm owners. It helps you track firearms, ammunition, range sessions, and maintenance; plan range sessions; participate in a members' community; and post or browse classified listings. Some features require a paid subscription.

3. Not legal or compliance advice

Any compliance information, state-law summaries, or warnings provided by Rangium are informational only and are not legal advice. Laws change frequently and vary by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws. Verify current requirements with the appropriate authorities or a qualified attorney before acting.

4. The marketplace — listings only

Rangium's marketplace is a venue for users to post and discover classified listings. Rangium is not a firearms dealer, broker, or party to any transaction. We do not process payment for, ship, store, or facilitate the transfer of any firearm, ammunition, or regulated item.

• All transfers must comply with federal, state, and local law and, where required, be completed through a licensed dealer (FFL) with the applicable background check.
• Interstate transfers of firearms must go through an FFL in the buyer's state of residence.
• You are solely responsible for verifying the eligibility of any party you transact with.
• Prohibited: straw purchases; transfers to prohibited persons or minors; sales that violate the National Firearms Act; and any transaction that violates applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Rangium to:

• Post or request anything for the purpose of an illegal sale or transfer.
• Provide instructions for manufacturing firearms, converting a firearm to fire automatically, or defeating a safety device; or to share files intended for those purposes.
• Threaten, harass, or incite violence against any person.
• Upload unlawful content, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
• Misrepresent your identity or eligibility.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Community conduct

Community areas are moderated. Keep discussion lawful and civil. We may edit, remove, or restrict content and accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe and compliant. You retain ownership of content you post and grant Rangium a non-exclusive license to host and display it as part of operating the service.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (Stripe) and grant access to software and community features only. Free trials, prices, and plan features are described at checkout. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel; you can cancel anytime and access continues through the end of the current billing period. We may change prices with notice for future billing periods. A free trial, if offered, is limited to one per user and converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before it ends.

8. Your data

Your use of Rangium is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You can export your firearm records and request account deletion as described there.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Rangium is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rangium and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from transactions between users, reliance on compliance information, or your use of the service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rangium and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the service, your content or listings, any transaction you enter into with another user, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Rangium's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to resolve disputes individually (not as part of a class action) and, to the extent permitted by law, through the courts or binding arbitration of that jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

12. Termination

You may stop using Rangium at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
