Women new to shooting — what worked for fitting a carry pistol to smaller hands

Sharing this because I struggled to find straight answers as a woman getting into carry. Reach to the trigger and being able to fully grip the gun matter way more than what's trendy. I ended up with a Sig P365 with the smaller grip module and a Hellcat as a close second, after actually renting and shooting a bunch. Renting before buying was the single best thing I did — please don't let someone hand you their gun and call it a day.

Renting first is THE move. So many people get talked into a gun that doesn't fit their hand.
Glad you mentioned trigger reach. A gun you can't reach the trigger on safely is a non-starter no matter the reviews.
Welcome to the hobby. A women's class or league near you can be a great low-pressure way to build skills.
Plus one on the holster point too. Concealment options vary a lot by body type and wardrobe, so factor that in alongside grip fit when picking your carry setup.
