Trigger upgrade on a stock Glock 19 — flat-faced trigger worth it?

My G19 trigger is fine but I'm curious if a flat-faced aftermarket trigger actually does anything meaningful or if it's just feel. I don't want to mess with anything that compromises reliability on a gun I might carry. For those who've done it, did you notice a real difference in your shooting or was it mostly placebo? Leaning toward a reputable drop-in over a full trigger job.

If you do swap it, test thoroughly with carry ammo before trusting it. Don't carry an untested trigger.
On a carry gun I'd stick to a quality drop-in from a known brand and avoid lightening the striker spring. Reliability first.
Honestly a few hundred rounds of dry fire did more for my trigger than any aftermarket part.
The flat face mostly changes leverage and feel, not your fundamentals. Some people shoot it better, some don't notice.
I love the flat trigger feel but be honest that it won't fix a flinch. Skill is the upgrade.
