Electronic ear pro recommendation that doesn't break the bank?

My old foam plugs are killing my ability to hear the range officer and my buddies, and I want to switch to electronic muffs that cut the gunshot but let me hear conversation. I don't want to spend $300 on the high-end stuff yet. What's a solid entry-level pair that actually works for indoor pistol?

I'd nudge you toward doubling up indoors regardless of which muffs you get. Indoor pistol is brutally loud, especially in a crowded lane. Plugs UNDER the electronic muffs.
For the budget, electronic muffs over the cheaper passive ones are 100% worth it just for being able to talk between strings. Hearing damage is permanent, don't cheap out forever.
Whatever you buy, get the kind with a low profile if you plan to shoot rifle, otherwise the stock smacks the cup and breaks your cheek weld.
Impact Sports for years here. The slim cup version sits better under a long gun cheek weld if you ever shoot rifle.
