Caliber conversion: running .22LR in my Glock for cheap practice

With ammo prices being what they are I picked up an Advantage Arms .22LR conversion kit for my G19 and it's been a game changer for trigger time. It's a little ammo-picky and likes hotter loads like CCI Mini-Mag, but for the cost per round I can practice fundamentals way more often. Anyone else running conversions, and how do you balance rimfire practice with keeping your centerfire reps up?

Dry fire fills the gap too. Free, and you can do it nightly with a safe, unloaded gun.
Conversions are great for trigger control but recoil management doesn't transfer. I do maybe 70% rimfire, 30% 9mm.
I went the dedicated 22 pistol route instead so I always have a backup, but conversions are hard to beat on cost.
Mini-Mags or Federal Punch only for me. The cheap bulk stuff chokes mine constantly.
Love my AA kit. The trick is keeping it clean — .22 is filthy and they get gummy fast.
