Is $480 a fair price for a used Gen 3 Glock 19 at my LGS?

New to handguns and found a used Gen 3 G19 at a local shop for $480 out the door. It looks clean, maybe some light holster wear on the slide, and they said it came from a trade-in. That feels a little high to me since I've seen new Gen 5s around $550, but I don't really know the used market. Would you walk on this or is it reasonable?

That's about $80-100 too high for a used Gen 3 in my area. They usually go $380-420. Offer $420 and see what they say.
Gen 3 19s are workhorses but don't pay near-new money for one. The Gen 5 trigger and barrel are noticeably better for not much more.
Ask to see the recoil spring and check the breech face for wear. If round count is low it's fine, but $480 has no room for surprises.
Check GunBroker completed listings for your area first. Gives you real numbers to negotiate with.
Honestly for $70 more get the new Gen 5 with a warranty and factory night sight option. Used Glock makes sense at a real discount, not this.
