Dry fire with a coin or empty case balanced on the front sight. If it falls when the hammer/striker drops, you're moving the gun. Free and it'll humble you fast.
Could be both, honestly. Start with the ball-and-dummy to confirm flinch, then work grip pressure. Don't try to fix everything at once or you won't know what helped.
Don't underestimate just shooting a .22 for a few hundred rounds. Took the flinch out of me when nothing else did.
For a righty, low-left is classically too much trigger finger or milking the grip as the shot breaks. Try contacting the trigger with the pad of your finger and see if it shifts right.
Ball and dummy drill. Have a buddy load your mag with a random dummy round mixed in. When you hit the dummy and the gun dips, that's a flinch. Cheapest diagnostic there is.
