Hunting handgun: anyone carry a 10mm as a sidearm in bear country?

Doing more backcountry elk hunting in grizzly territory and considering a Glock 20 in 10mm as a trail sidearm over a heavy revolver. I know the .44 mag crowd will show up, but I shoot the 10mm faster and carry more rounds. For those who actually hunt with one, what loads are you trusting and how's it carry on a pack?

Practice drawing with your actual pack on. The kit changes everything about your draw stroke.
Bear spray first, gun second, for most encounters. Carry both and know which one you're reaching for.
Here comes the .44 guy: I carry a 4" .44 because I want max margin, but I won't pretend I shoot it as fast as your 20.
G20 with Buffalo Bore or Underwood hardcast 200gr is a legit bear load. Penetration is what matters and hardcast delivers.
Chest rig holster is the way for a pack. Don't bury it on your hip under a hip belt.
