An AI firearm assistant is an AI you talk to, by chat or voice, that understands firearms, ammunition, and your own collection, and can take actions for you. Rangium's assistant, Vanta, reads your real inventory to answer questions and, on your confirmation, logs range sessions, records purchases, adjusts ammo counts, logs maintenance, and creates marketplace listings.
What can Vanta actually do?+
Ask: rounds on hand by caliber, lifetime usage, an estimated market value for a firearm, and per-state compliance notes. Act (on your confirmation): log a range session and deduct the rounds, record an ammo purchase, adjust inventory, add a firearm, log maintenance or a malfunction, add accessories, and list an item in the marketplace auto-filled from your records. You can even attach an ammo receipt in chat and she'll extract and log the purchase.
Does it work by voice?+
Yes. Vanta has realtime voice. Hands-free at the bench you can say “log 100 rounds of 9mm through my Glock” or “what's my AR worth?” and she does it out loud. The same assistant works as text chat.
Do I stay in control?+
Always. Vanta reads before she writes, and every action that changes your data or posts a listing is restated and taken only after you confirm. Nothing happens silently.
Is my data private, and does it give legal advice?+
Your inventory and logs stay private to you and are exportable as CSV or JSON. Vanta provides general information, not legal advice. State-law answers are informational; verify current law with your state authorities and a licensed attorney before any transfer.
